Still not exactly convinced that Bryan got the best of this. Gonna' need a better rebuttal than that IMO.

Thank you for reaffirming that Kathrine was, in fact, correct.

There is a HUGE difference between loud drunk stuck players and loud drunk 150k winners. The latter tend to make the room more fun, even if you aren't at their table. I'm with OP all the way, and the only eye witness seems to be as well.

actionkid - you pretty much recapped most of what maverick had already said.
Everyone here had already determined that he was very much in the wrong here and you did nothing to change that.

Shouting out at the top of your lungs to the room like that probably wasn't as funny as you thought and definitely was more obnoxious than you seem to believe.

I don't know who this Katharine person is and she may be as much of a rude floor as others have indicated.
But it's my hunch she doesn't go around just booting people out of the Wynn whenever she feels like it.
Obviously she felt the volume, tone and probably the number of F-bombs had crossed the line and she was well within her right, and actually was obligated, to request that you guys tone it down.

You're an ass

[/ QUOTE ]

If you have any dignity left after sobering up, you will go back to the Wynn and apologize to Katherine for your boorish behavior.

[/ QUOTE ]

get a grip. maybe he was loud and obnoxious and maybe something needed to be said. that said, no lowly floor manager has any [censored] business making a remark like "you need to keep it down, there are people playing for more money than you are" to a bunch of guys who are making Wynn plenty of money themselves. Even if they were out of line the tool had no business being rude. the appropriate response from the floor would have been a polite request to quiet things down a little, but I suppose thats too much to expect of these idiots who stooge for corporations like Wynn and Harrah's.

Listen, there was no volume problem, the problem was in her head! She said people were complaining and we asked "ok, who is complaining?" and she couldn't even point to one person. There was no problem, SHE created the whole problem. Bryan did nothing wrong, and tried to fix the situation in a calm manner, and she kicked him out for no reason. I would also like to add, Bryan added a lot of enjoyment to the game, and this was one of the most fun live games ive ever played in my life, it was sad when the game broke because of that dumb lady Kathrine. She was wrong, no one did anything wrong, she was just on a big ego trip and wanted to start showing her power by kicking people out. I personally do not want to play at the Wynn anymore after this treatment, and like Bryan, I am also a much bigger player than 1-3 NL, we were just messing around at about 5 in the morning and drinking and having a good time.

How about if she pointed to herself? You were obviously annoying her...and she was the one person who had any authority in the room itself.

Even the OP came back and said that he was a bit in the wrong, so I'm not sure why you're defending the actions of that night.

And FWIW, to stop playing at the Wynn over getting escorted b/c you were loud and drunk is on the not-so-smart side (-ev for all the 2+2 devotees)...unless the higher limit games there are no where near as good as the lower limit ones. I don't know cuz' I ain'ts no high roller!

It's cool that the OP came back on here and stated that he did accept some of the blame.

A lot of us have had our "nights" in Vegas. Mine were at the Mirage and Monte Carlo. Both times completely my fault.

Another note:

I've been in the Wynn with drunk annoying 2p2ers a few times, one of show kicked over my chip stack. We weren't close to getting thrown out. I have to assume that you guys were being far worse than we were, and frankly- we were out of line.

[/ QUOTE ]

That was before Katherine took over. While it sounds like OP was probably worse than we have been in the past, the Wynn has gotten worse and worse over time -- ever since Kathleen, I believe her name was, left. She rocked. It's still a better room than the Bellagio, but that ain't exactly saying much.
