Macaulay Culkin (Sure laugh, but once he hits the 20 movie plateau it is likely the only negatives will be Home Alone 2 & 3.)

Denzel, Crowe and Hanks are all good answers, but I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned Morgan Freeman. Check out his run from about 1988 onward. Mostly good stuff.

But the clear winner is...

He was in Pay It Forward and that is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and it takes A LOT for me not to like a movie.

QFMFT-- this guy doesnt [censored] around, 90% of any movie he signs on for he KNOWS is going to be good, and he doesnt sign on for [censored]/typical roles either-- he takes on the most challenging and diversifiede roles possible, unlike Denzel who takes on the same role in just about every movie, not saying hes bad, hes fantastic, but Christian Bale wins this thread, /thread.
