Default My thoughts on the PokerStar WSOP Tournies

They seem to have been thrown together a bit hap hazardly this year, I didn't read anything about these $320 tournies on their website, are they just a temporary thing, until they get satellites going for the $650's?
Why are there no DS, and rebuys today for the WSOP, under cash satellites there is only the $320 tourney and 1 qualifier for it.
Why does the $30R and the $320 tourney both have the awful structure(no 800/1600 level etc., I can't stand the jump from 600/1200 to 1k/2k), this is enough for me not to play one of the $30R until they go back to the newer MTT structure.

I don't know something about this weekends satellites looks thrown together at the last minute, like they were planning on starting the sats later, and then management told them to roll out some sats yesterday and they didn't have much time to plan/make sure everything rolled out smoothly.

Ok I'm done bitchin'

Cheers!
John

I did twice, this is what they told me:

Question:

How often are the double shootouts/cash qualifiers going to be run? Every sunday??? Every few days?

Response:

Hello xxxxxxxx,

Some of the events show as 'Daily' ones and others are weekly. We will be
posting today's events later on today.

Do not hesitate to contact us for more information or assistance.

Maybe I will drop them an e-mail asking about this see if I can get more out of them and also ask them why they are using that awful structure.

Cheers!
John

PS I'll post back if I find out more

Nevermind. It looks like they do indeed start next Sunday, as I now see next week's listed in the lobby.

Are you guys looking in the right place? The double shootouts started yesterday.

Lobby -> Events -> WSOP -> Cash Satellites
