Re: 10 20 NL heads up
[ QUOTE ]
In full ring this might be a fold, opponent dependent. In heads up here, raise to $900-1000 and call a push. Of course you are going to be losing sometimes, but if you are going to let you push you off your very strong heads-up hand with something like 88, you have no business playing heads-up. [/ QUOTE ] I am pretty sure he's asking how to get max value, not trying to find a fold... |

I think something like $777 is a great number, but I think I'd definitely want to put in a small raise where it looks like he might have some FE. |

Re: 10 20 NL heads up
i really cant imagine not shoving here, unless i thought villain was a really over aggro type in which case a small raise/call would be ideal.
shove just really is better though imo, since you get it in anyway against other hands now (TT and down, which is normally almost as much of his hand range as QQ+ if not more, also you dont let draws and the such draw cheap and possibly get away later). |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I have him played him, but don't really remember many specifics. Depending on flow I might like a shove because you're really not representing a whole lot (and I expect to get looked up by any PP that 3bet pre). Alternatively, flatcalling is fine, but I think you have to call like any turn because he will prob 2barrel ai most facecards. [/ QUOTE ] minraising is much better than a shove fwiw [/ QUOTE ] Ya sometimes for sure, although lately I think people have been shoving over minraises with air very infrequently (or at least less frequently than it used to be) [/ QUOTE ] might as well give him room though, plus I would be minraising here with air a healthy % of th etime [/ QUOTE ] very nice advertising/marketing....free too |
