Comedy Improv classes?
I'm looking at an adult school catalog for new things to try, and the "beginner comedy improv class" stands out to me. It's consists of 9 meetings, of 3 hours each, and I assume you do "Who's line is it anyway?" (whatever that show was called) type stuff.
I play poker for a living and tend to not get out much other than some drunken bar crawls so I think this stuff would be good for me.. though I already feel a little anxious just thinking about doing it. I am far from the life of the party. Anyone ever done one of these classes? Thoughts/reports/opinions etc. |

Re: Comedy Improv classes?
This will not improve your improv skills because you rely on wit to improvise. You either have wit or you don't. If you have it then you don't need the class. If you want to do it for a good laugh and just to mess around then more power to you.

Just do it. People who go to adult school for this stuff are just like you, trying to get out of their shells and get into something cool. There couldn't be a healthier environment for you. Plus you'll fingerbang lonely MILFs after class.

This sounds like a lot of fun.
I have considered joining some type of acting work shop. |

I want to work on acting because my job requires a lot of "salemanship". I do not know if acting will help, however I plan to find out. |
