Default Starting hands for newbies.

Hi,

i am new to PLO,

I've looked at the FAQ, and i've tried searching the forum for threads on starting hand suggestions, but i couldnt find anyhing. can someone provide links to suitable threads, or provide some suggestions?

This thread discusses some aspects of PLO play.

As far as starting hands, your range varies upon position and opponents.

Play cards that are connected such as jt98, a876.
Suited hands have considerable extra value. So jt97 ds has more value than qjt9 unsuited.
Raise with a variety of hands preflop, not just aaxx.
The general forum line is VPIP around 35-40.
