Default Sit \'n Go Dedication

I opened the book to find this surprising dedication:

"Dedication
To the Glorious St 'n go
You have treated me well with riches.
May you now do the same for my readers."

This really makes it hard for me to take anything else in the book seriously.

But ok, if you want my opinion of the content, I skimmed the book, and I can tell that it is the first book of its kind to teach people how to actually beat SNGs. My gut feeling is that it contains all the information that a losing, but dedicated player needs to at least beat the low level sngs.

But seriously, there is some unnecessarily pompous commentary.

This can only be settled with a mud-wrestling match between Collin and Rhett with David Sklansky as the special guest referee. The side-betting would be epic.

But seriously, I don't put much stock in the dedications page of anything.

I wouldn't take dedications too seriously. In the third printing of the original edition of Hold 'em Poker for Advanced Players the dedication read:

[ QUOTE ]
Dedicated From David To:

Bunny S.
Jeannie A.
Robin G.
Brenda W.
and
Lola B.

[/ QUOTE ]

best wishes,
Mason
