Default Main Event; He\'s going Jamie Gold on me?

About 15 minutes left in Day1b. I've been big stack all day, but have recently taken some hits running big pairs into other big pairs but still have 70k to start the hand.

The blinds are 400/800 w/ a 100 ante. My image is probably tight agressive. For the last level I went a long time without winning a pot but have generally shown down good hands.

Player in question is a 30ish european. He's been here on my right for about 4 hours and played tight up until the last 45 minutes or so (we are on the last level before the end of the day.) He's really been picking it up with his steals. He has about 75k.

Two hands we've played this level; I open utg w/ TT to 2.5k, he calls in SB. 954ss flop. He insta check/calls my 4k bet. Turn J. Check check. River blank duece. He insta bets 5k. I say meh and call and lose to a LOL played AA.

Later and about 30 minutes before we clash, he raises hijack to 2800. I call w/ 85s on the button and plan to raise any flop. I do so, he mulls it over and folds.

On to hand at question:

He opens hijack to 3500. I look at red KsKd on button. I make it 10,500 to go. Villian mulls it over and calls.

Flop is Js9c2s. He checks. I bet 12k. He INSTApushes.

It's a little less than 50k to me.

I stand up, tell him how lucky he is, then he says, "I have you beat," giving me a serious staredown.

WTF?
