Default 5/10 Live hand, gutshot straight + fd facing flop overbet...

5/10 at the Venetian. 4 limpers and I limp in the SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop comes: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 checks to this guy who bets 80 into this 50 dollar pot. The only read I have on this guy is that he has overbet into a multiway pot twice before; he won both pots so I don't know what his overbet means. Either way I don't give his overbet much respect and I call flop.

Turn (pot 210): Turn is an ace and it goes check/check.

River: is a queen. Now the board is Q62AQ with no flush draw possible. I think about it for a little and lead for 140. I figured that my hand has no showdown value and a missed FD would be in his range. I didn't know if I could get him to fold though, hard to know much about his calling range.

Thoughts on all aspects?

I'd jam the flop, if you are convinced made hands call and only want to fold out better draws bet like $100.

I'd probably bet 3 bet the flop here against this type of guy. Probably have some FE and you can always get there.

If you've been quiet I'm sure you can rep a set or a better Q.

what are stack sizes to start the hand? I'd lead this flop almost always, and if not I'd probably c/r. He has a Q here a lot too I think.

Yeah, i strongly considered raising the flop. We had about 200 BB which kind of discouraged me from playing it allin on that flop if he reraises my cr.

I was hoping that 140 instead of 100 could fold out hands like 99 if those were in his range to begin with, but point taken.

I'd estimate about 200 BB. Although it was really hard to tell in this game, but $100 bills play and you can't always see them that easily. Probably should have asked though.

I'd probably bet the flop myself, but it probably doesn't matter too much. I would just give up the river. I don't trust a live donk to fold any pair really. It's also possible he was bluffing with A high on the flop and decided to play for pot control once he spiked it on the turn.
