what is your nerdiest accomplishment/claim to fame?

When I was in Junior High School I won a gold medal in The Olympics of the Mind. I actually take no credit for our victory, since it was a team and I did little work. But it is still nerdy.

I won the state spelling bee when I was in 4th grade, and I've read the entire King James Bible cover to cover twice.

1984 Rubik's Cube champ of Methuen (MA) High, 2:32.

Not that noteworthy, as many of the "contestants" had no idea how to solve a Rubik's Cube--they had only signed up for the contest to get out of going to a class.

Humorous note: One kid had "greased" the inner workings of his cube with Vaseline, for faster sliding. He spent a lot of time boasting about this beforehand. During the contest, the cube fell apart in his hands. The look on his face was priceless.

EDIT TO ADD: Won a karaoke contest once. Was robbed another time. Karaoke singers are nerdy.

edit- example: I know one guy who has a geometric theorem named after him. One of my friends can solve a rubix cube in 10 minutes, while another was in the national spelling bee.

Truth is I'm less nerdy now than I was 5 years ago. Its not as much fun as it used to be. The money's still good though. :-)
