Army-A&M is a hell of a game right now. Army's down four, goal to go with 13 seconds left.

Terrible call by Army. How can you run the ball when you have no timeouts left? With 9 seconds to go, you can pass twice.

And if you are going to run, don't run a slow developing sweep. Jesus.

USC will be going to the National Championship. Obviously I said this preseason, but now I can say so with complete conviction since Notre Dame is a group of frauds and JDB is totally legit.

Our DL will eat your OL for lunch, and the same will happen with your excellent DL.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, you were half right:

Florida:

Leak: 15/25, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Wynn: 22 rushes for 104 yards
Florida Offense: 320 total yards

Tennessee:

Ainge: 17/33, 184, 2 INTs, 3 rushes for -13 yds
Hardesty: 17 rushes for 13 yds, 1 TD
Foster: 2 rushes for 2 yards (some discrepancies in stats here, most articles I read say Tenn actually rushed for -11)
UT total yards: 234 (220 by some accounts)

Good call on the game score (21-20). It couldve easily been much better for Florida, given that they lost a TD on a questionable block in the back call on the punt return. Good job on the trick play by UT, I cant believe how wide open that guy was.

[ QUOTE ]
Should be a classic.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not quite a classic, but one hell of a game. Hats off to UT for a great game in spite of the injuries to some of their key players.

What happened to Virginia? They almost lost at home to Wyoming last week, now they did lose to Western Michigan.

[/ QUOTE ]

Western Michigan is the class of the MAC division. They aren't horrible like Eastern or Western Michigan.

If a Big 12 or ACC or Big east team were to play at WMU, it would be closer than you'd think. Unless that team is Ohio STate or Texas. I'm talking about Texas Tech, or BC

Don't forget the negated Tennessee INT return for a TD. The call against Mapu was questionable, as he was trying to block the pass at release, but was being held and shoved into Leak.

Those 2 calls evened out. Florida looked better than Tennessee by a solid margin, so I'm not pissed we lost by a point. Our OL stunk all night, and we were SAVED by Ainge this game.

You all have some tough games left, so don't write yourself into the SECCG yet.

Not writing that anywhere. Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGA still ahead. Insane schedule. That's why we had to have this game.

I agree that the two calls pretty much negated each other. As for the rest of the season, I am definitely not writing them into the SEC Championship game yet. But getting past Tenn was crucial. LSU-Auburn showed off two really tough teams, and UGA is no slouch either.
