Underworld: Evolution

Crap....total crap.

Shakey plot at best....many, many questions left unanswered. Kate Beckensale barely made this watchable....but god she's hot. I kept hoping for some nude scenes....no dice.

Its kinda sad becasue like the first 30 minutes of the 1st one could have set this up to be a really cool story....

I watched it on my birthday; a friend took me out for all you can eat Mongolian Grill and we drank a little sherry before hand so I suppose my very pro opinion of the movie could be influenced by the excellent mood I was in. That being said, I loved it. I also thought the first was great.

This movie was raw, rip em up and spit them out, vampire / lycan / hybrid battling at it's finest. The plot was a touch thin, but in my opinion excess plot is a waste in these types of films. There were a few interesting developments and throughout the entire movie there were a few questions floating around in my head which kept me interested in seeing what developed. It also managed to clear up a few things that were a little vague in the first movie.

The fight scenes where were this movie excelled and where it was supposed to.
