Default $400NL. DEEP with set. WTF?!?!?!?

Villain is 25/12/4 or something like that. He has been playing a bit odd. He overbets a lot of pots on the turn and river. He donks into me often. I think he has been trying to push me around a little bit and is trying to win all the pots he plays.

Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $406
Hero (UTG): $1,195.20
MP: $400
CO: $2,199.43
BTN: $430
SB: $390

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $14, MP calls $14, CO calls $14, 3 folds

Flop: ($48) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero bets $34, MP folds, CO calls $34

Turn: ($116) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $80, CO raises to $208, Hero calls $128

River: ($532) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $400, Hero ?!?!?!?

WTF do I do here? Do we call? Can we fold? If we fold, what is the minimum hand we are calling with here? Whats his range here? Basically, wtf?!?!

With your reads here, seems like a fairly obvious call. If we folded, then minimum calling range would seem to be any decent flush, since KK = QQ here.

As described, this player's range is comprised of mostly air, or a hand like KxJc etc. He probably has a flush here sometimes, but not all that often.

EZ call.

This deep some people get overly tricky.. He could eaisly be valuebetting KQ and any set or better.

Eh disagree with others that it's an obvious call. I would fold if I was playing good, I think. People don't really get out of line in spots like this deep, especially if he has been getting the best of you and expects you to call down light.

How big is this sample on him? The 4 AF for those relatively passive preflop stats leads me to believe that we're working with a pretty small sample, so I don't know if I would consider those stats reliable. If it is over a big sample, I agree that it's definitely a call, I just havent't seen any of these passive preflop types that have an AF that high.

Thing is, he called this flop in a multiway pot after you opened utg and cbet a coordinated flop into two players. I don't think almost anybody's range for peeling this flop is big. He never will have KJ/AQ or something imo. And two pair/sets are almost always raising the flop here. To me a lot of his range is flushes, and then some float/bluffs with stuff like a gutshot on the flop.

Tough spot, but I think people overestimate how often a certain player is bluffing them based on a couple hands. He probably doesn't espect you to fold much after you call the turn, so I'd be pretty worried when he raises small on the turn and bets biggish on the river.

Call. If he thinks hes got u nailed then surely he value bets and doesn't play it crazy fast. I figure your ahead of his range here often enough to call.
