2 nd graphic card

i wanna use a third monitor and need another graphiccard for that.

does it actually play a role wether that card is good or not? can i just take the cheapest one i can find?

No real role. Make sure it'll fit into whatever slot you want it to go into (probably PCI ... find out what slots your machine has free). I'd also suggest that you avoid anything with a fan, but that's going to be easy if you go for the close to the cheapest.

You can't use the onboard video card for the 2nd card? (assuming your mainboard had one)

Ehh ... are you putting together a new machine or buying a new motherboard for your old machine or what are you doing? You'll probably just have to go through the review sites anyway.

i am puttin toghether a new machine. i have already ordered it but maybe they can still change the order.

And you didn't think of including what processor you're getting? Anyway, I'm not really in touch with the current motherboards.
