Default NLCASH J9s 3-bet TP flop

Have a long history with villain. First session he was total cs, 2nd session too, always stacked off to me. 3rd session he totally changed. Became tight, started mixing up, STOPED BEEING CALLING STATION, BUT: he still made some weird bluffs in different ways and in very wrong spot. And he min3-bet OOP like 60% of the time.

Game #6025831694: Hold'em NL ($0.25/$0.50) - 2007/10/25 - 00:00:49 (UK)

On flop I decided to commit. Was I right? Is it slightly positive or negative?

i don't know why you'd 4bet a tight player or a calling station with j9s. the problem withs stacking off on that flop is that you're at best a coinflip, and when you're behind you're drawing to 0 outs sometimes.

i'd probably check the river in hand 3 (and ck the flop, honestly) - you have sd value against his range.

i dont see tight player minibet OOP 60%

if he really do this so often i dont think any bad there, especially with tigven stacks

hand 2 - river bet is bad because of your weak flop bet
you should check or raise more than pot
and checking looks way better

Agree. 4bet against this type of player with J9s is silly FPS (fancy play syndrome). See a flop and put pressure on most flops. You want to play big pots in position, but you dont want to inflate the pot so big pf that there is no room to take advantage of position/floating/bluffraising, etc.

If you want to 4bet someone, do it with A high or pairs, stuff that doesnt need to improve to have showdown value.
