Are you a Matisyahu fan?
I was setting up for a party at a Jewish home once. I introduced myself and went to shake the hand of what I assumed was an Orthodox Jew and he stood there staring at me with his hands behind his kittel. WTF? That bacon was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD wasn't it?

I also went through a Dag Nachash (Israeli sort-of-rap group) phase, and still like them. Since you're a dude, I'm not sure why the Orthodox guy didn't shake your hand. Maybe a question for someone better versed in Jewish law than I am.
