Re: $400NL. QQ in blind battle. Thoughts?
benz,
when you bet small on the river its a blocker with the intention of: a) receiving a cheap showdown b) inducing a shove c) or folding you don't want to fold because his hand looks like a bluff check-raise. He c/r the flop, didn't lead turn when presumably his Ace high flush draw got there and finally when the four [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] falls he's shoving or missing value. |

Re: $400NL. QQ in blind battle. Thoughts?
i dont like a shove on the flop for the old "folds what we have beat, and calls with what has us beat."
i find ppl LOVE to cr bluff these 554 994 type flops. flat call flop, and rr turn. |

Re: $400NL. QQ in blind battle. Thoughts?
I like flop because people love c/r paired flops because they think that is how they play three of a kind eventhough it's never in his preflop range.
As played I don't mind a turn shove. I guess I shove river once he checks because I don't think he has a boat or nut flush. |
