[ QUOTE ]

I assume that you mean that Mississippi and Alabama are more rednecky than Texas. Probably. But I was talking more about how Texans seem to have an arrogant attitude like they're better than everyone.

[/ QUOTE ]

We are.

I find it hilarious that some piss-ant from a state that doesn't matter feels the need to berate Texans.

i'm from texas, im nice and i have good avatars. i'm from austin though, like a couple other guys said, its not a very texas-y place. i dont think i could live anywhere else in the state, houston wouldnt be horrible if the weather wasnt like living in a swamp

dallas is probably on par with LA and phoenix for most douchebags per square mile.

My theory is that Texans are like cowboys, as a class....

We have a big rodeo here yearly - the REAL cowboys are polite, pleasant, good people. The wannabe cowboys are 24K [censored] - demanding, stupid, obnoxious idiots.

Most of the flaming [censored] Texans probably moved there last week.....

Texas is made up of 3 groups of people

1) people that live in austin

2) people that are too stupid or busto to live in austin and instead just live in whatever crappy town they were born in or forced to move to because of a cube job

3) people that are too rich and materialistic to live in austin, and instead live in downtown houston or dallas, and some suburbs of each where people will be impressed by their range rovers and 4 bedroom houses with pools

I'm assuming the OP has only met type 3

[/ QUOTE ]

4) Farmers/ranchers

[/ QUOTE ]
They're #2.
