Default Really hated this hand, FT 5/10

Villian has been playing 35/20 over about 100 hands. About 3 orbits ago he 3-bet my button raise to 100, and I folded.

We haven't really clashed at all. I'm running at about 19/15. The orbit before, I made a big bluff w/ 22 on a 884K4 board and showed, but this was against another player.

This is the first time he's made a really small 3-bet.

It's pretty close. You may have implied odds because it's unlikely he's getting away from the river. I suppose you probably have 7+4 outs... cause it sure looks like aces to me. Hard to say without running the math, and if he's ever bluffing here it changes it some.

meh I just raise the flop and call the rest off. I don't want him to get in the habit of thinking he can push around my button opens, and on ace high boards obv a ton of his range can't take the heat.

Not that close....fold.

And for the record, I like your flop call instead of raising it up here. Unless you knew a raise would get you a free turn. Unlikely though since most often he would just 3bet flop allin on a board like this in which case you gambool up.

fold now, i dont mind the flop call but raising is obv cool too. depends on what line of yours will scare him the most (raise flop, or float flop + potentially steal turn).

I agree, but not sure if raising small is best here. If he has a small or medium Ax, or even KK/Jx I think a shove puts more pressure on him. I'd rather raise small if we are bluffing or have a snap calling hand.
