Default A few observations from my recent vegas trip

1. Okada at the Wynn is amazing. Daniel Bould is bleh, the DB burger is very overrated. The "champagne brunch" blows.

2. The average age in the Wynn 2-5 during the day is 89.

3. The talent at Tryst is unreal.

4. The Wynn cab line is absurd.

5. Mirage Pai Gow at 4am is amazing.

6. Mirage blackjack at 5am is not.

Much like the 4-8 and 1-3, although I would say past noon, the demographic age starts plunging. I was short a few hours on my poker rate, and had to grind it out before my flight home at noon. I nearly threw in the towel and just paid the extra $200 for the night.

Tables on the rail at 1 am. They could charge a cover for the show.

I was cabbing it to the Wynn one night, and a gal wearing an outfit straight out of a porn flick came walking up to the cab as we were stopped in traffic getting ready to turn in. I thought for certain she was a hooker about to offer her wares, but she was just a Tryst-goer looking for a cab.
