$20 cruise leader board bet settler
Playing a 460 man mtt, stake doesn't matter, it was the points needed that were of importance. 50 are paid (points and money) and there are 51 to go.
Myself and a friend play 36000 and are 2nd chip leader at the table (4th overall). Blinds are 1000/2000 A player in mid-position (13000) raises to 4000. We are in the cutoff with AQ Clubs. There is a shortie in the small blind who only has 780 more to call. If we move all in, what is the range that the original raiser folds? This will lead to whether this should be a push or not but considering the bubble and that the original raiser has 9000 left if he folds and the payout structure is naturally top heavy what will he fold? The points system is incredibly top heavy in that the leader board can only be won by people who have won at least one mtt (out of 20). Many thanks guys. |

Re: $20 cruise leader board bet settler
Raise to 12000 call a push. You are ahead of the raisers range with AQs and need to reraise, 3x his raise is good. Call anyone that pushes.

Re: $20 cruise leader board bet settler
I would normally say the MP raiser would not fold, but just noticed it was a min-raise, so I'd say you make it 11000-13000 to go. If the MP guy calls, so be it...hope for clubs. I think you have a good chance against a min-raiser here to see a fold though.

Re: $20 cruise leader board bet settler
And to answer your question about MP's range - who knows - sounds like a donk to me in the first place. MP has 6.5 BBs left and doesn't open shove or fold? Sounds like a moron who won't even understand his odds if you do happen to push.
