Default UB rebuys: whats the deal with double add-ons?

I'm new to UB. I noticed that the rebuys here give you the option to double add-on. During the add-on period you have the option to rebuy once for 3,000 or double rebuy for 6,000. Seems like a great value to double rebuy. I noticed many players at the $30 rebuy and $100 rebuy are not doing double add-ons. Why not?

I had been playing the 30r for about a month before I even noticed.(im paying attention huh) But now I allways double both. Even if you run bad during the rebuy period, with the double rebuy and double add-on you still come out with about an avg. stack due to all the people who don't do both. That plus the structure make's for a good tournament IMO.
