Set on monotone flop
Villain is quite a bit passive, 20/10/2 but we have a bit of history together. We're on 3 tables together and we've been 3betting each other a lot and pulling all sorts of move. He may see me as pretty wild since I've made a few bad decisions in this session.
I don't know about this hand, I'm pretty lost. I tried leading the turn to find out a little more information about this hand, but in retro I think it just confused me more... any thoughts??? Re: Set on monotone flop
I like raising preflop, it seems to make the hand easier to play, as usually at these limits I can c-bet the flop and take it down.
On the flop, as played, I much prefer a 3-bet then a stop and go. With your stack sizes, calling can make this much more difficult. I like making it $120 on the flop, looking to get it all in. How would you play a club on the turn? |
