Re: Checks being Delayed/Bounced I\'ve Finally seen the Light.
I've asked this before: without addressing anything else, what exactly is the problem with setting up an epassporte account and getting a visa card in order to withdraw??? Personally, I'm not worried - I've received all my cashouts promptly and without any of the headaches others have reported here in recent weeks. Granted, I'm merely a recreational player and the amounts are minimum withdrawal amounts, but just the same, IMO the specific withdrawal amount would be immaterial, and well I haven't had any problems.

I hate to say it, but I think that the poker-playing profession attracts enough people with questionable credit and cash flow that I attribute most of the held check reports to customers looking shifty, than the the checks themselves being in any danger of going bad. Re: Checks being Delayed/Bounced I\'ve Finally seen the Light.
I don't care for the alarmist point of view. OTOH, I wish I'd been a little quicker in getting my Neteller funds out.
But consider your audience -- we're poker players, and we're already accepting some risk playing on computers with electronic money in foreign nations; we're not likely to bail out early. Nice post, though. |
