jesus im running bad. i was gonna post in the 'runbad' thread, but that closed now so everyone here gets it.

the most awesome thing is the number of creative ways to run bad FTP has stored. Every time i push QQ 5 handed, suprise, KK!. Every Ax hits A(x+1). Every fish on the bubble surviving 15 allins while i wait for them to finally bust. 3 times in a row deep stacked i raise AK, multiple callers, Kxx flop, get it in, suprise! fish hit a set loollz. gahhhh hundreds and hundreds of loooosing/breakeven tourneys. My BR is almost back below 1000. I guess i should go study my shiny new SNGwiz some more.

It does get better, right? Thank god for rakeback/ ironman medals at the end of the month.

I think that a very large part of the value of 2p2 is in responding to situations that other people highlight as being difficult.

I think that the overwhelming majority of value that I've obtained (like, 99% or thereabouts) from this site has been from reading other people's threads.

I'm still in the Army - I get out this summer.

The job would be involving fielding new equipment - never leaving the base - one of the main bases in Iraq.. I'm not worried about the "danger" to be honest - there would be zero direct danger and very minimal random danger. It would be 5 months in, one month off, then 5 more months then the job would be over.

I don't know what you're doing now - how hard it would be to do this and come back etc etc. But if you're not tied down, or set in your current role, I could see taking the money and running.

If you are recently in the reserves from active duty - I'm sure you have enough contacts to assess the hazards of the location and job.
