Always. You are usually in decent-good shape if you get it in (sometimes in REALLY good shape if you get it in against bare top two) and are almost never in bad shape. You can also fold out a lot of hands you have to improve against to beat or that dirty up your outs (although most of these hands that will fold you are ahead of in equity anyways).
