tdarko,

I just want you to know, that I think Tony Romo is a god and Rex Grossman only wishes he could be like him. And if I could have a threesome with him and Tom Brady, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

A note on the Seahawks: they play the Saints, 49ers, and cards at home. They also have games against cleveland, and atlanta. Plus 2 against the god awful rams. They have very few tough games remaining. At Philly will be tough, but what else? Maybe the Bears at home.. They have pretty much the easiest schedule in the NFL. Six home games left, and they tend not to lose at home. I think they are looking at minimum 10 wins, despite currently having a pitiful running back. They have a legit shot at a bye week in the playoffs.

According to DVOA, we get 5 games against the 5 worst teams in football. (Chicago, SF, St Louis twice, and NO). Man, that schedule is soft.

Almost? Alexander is washed up. Period. Every week I go to write some disparaging comment about Alexander, then realize I'm a broken record and try to come up with something else.

Not sure what you're talking about here. He's 11th in the league in yards, with a 3.7 ypc, which, while not great, is better than LT, Steven Jackson, LJ, Rudi Johnson, and your boy, Frank Gore. Sure he's lost a step or two, but he can still be effective.

Mack Strong just got put out. Doesn't help him. Branch is also out.

The guy is also 30.

FG has played Baltimore and Steelers and Zona who is suprisingly good against the run this year. Larry Allen needs to retire. He was awesome last year but has been awful this year. FG also came into the year hurt. The o-line has been bad though.

SA needs to retire. I hate Seattle and I hate for them to be good but he is more of a liability then anything right now. 30 is getting old for a RB anyways.

i am a panthers fan so my opinions on tampa are obv biased, but--

carnell williams' injury is a big deal, but i think pettigout going down is just as big. i fully expect garcia to tank in the second half of the season

They still have to be the favorites in the division though.

I hate when you compare a muffed punt to a guy stripping the ball. They are two completly different plays. One is luck, one is skill.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a good point, but cut me some slack for entertainment's sake, mmkay?

[ QUOTE ]
Seattle is still not very good on the road. They will be fine this week at home against the Saints.

[/ QUOTE ]

I put some money on Seattle already. -7? At even money? Really?

Washington is better than Arizona.

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh, it's close. You're probably right. I did consider switching them.

If the Eagles lose to the Jets this week they should quit the NFL.

If the Eagles lose this week, I might quit the NFL.

3.7ypc is not "effective." It's terrible.

He has 1.0 DPAR, which ranks 31st in the NFL. He has a negative DVOA, also ranked 31st.

The only reason he's 11th in yards is because Seattle keeps stubbornly giving him the ball even though he's finished. It's not hard to tell when you watch him - he doesn't look good at all.
