Re: TILT
I think Doyle said that he didn't like it because it depicted cheating in poker.
"Me thinks s/he doth protest too much"? lol |

Re: TILT
I was once trapped in a hotel room in Fullerton, CA with a bad case of food poisoning and East Coast jet lag. When I finally stopped the vomit/sleep cycle I had been in all day, it was 1 AM local time (4 AM EST). The only thing on the limited TV I had that wasn't an infomercial was ESPN playing a Tilt marathon. I actually started wishing I was back in a vomit/sleep cycle about half way through.

The show was worth it if only for the massive and hilarious comment threads it generated here, and for the poster (whose name I forget) who created this image: [/ QUOTE ] OMFG This is [censored] hilarious! A++++++ |

Re: TILT
[ QUOTE ]
Glad to see I am not the only one that liked it. Dont get me wrong, the show was terrible. It was so bad it was good. [/ QUOTE ] I totally agree! It was one of those guilty pleasures that was funny for all the wrong reasons. After lurking here in 2+2 for ages, I finally registered so I could share a funny comment about the actress who plays Miami (but IMDB lists her character as "Ellen," go figure.) Matt Roush describer her in this Q&A as one of those actresses with "show killer syndrome," or a sure sign a TV show is doomed. Bwah! I just had to share. That is all. |
