Default $22 PP - 99 on the button

This is the first game I played with the CO raiser, with his VPIP in the mid 20's and his PFR under 10%. Folding here seems very weak, and calling to see a flop, to me, seems very awkward. How should I have played this?

I let it be awkward and call and to position post flop to make this a $ making play.
