[/ QUOTE ] Not sure on this, depends on his range. I think whether this is a v bet depends on info not presented. If this is a standard live guy who is somewhat nitty postflop and loose pre he could easily have 2pr and set type hands here that beat you and probably might not pay off river with 1 pair, right? I think it depends on his preflop range and tendencies, this is tough. How bad is flat calling turn?

[/ QUOTE ] But don't draws make up a pretty big part of his range? If so, you want to get money in on the turn, and you shouldn't expect much on the river.
