Default MLB Division Series

were any sites offering odds before the series started about how many of them would be sweeps...bc if the Yankees would have gotten swept every series would have been a sweep...and i was wondering what odds someone would have gotten on a bet saying every series would be a sweep

That's such a strange bet that I doubt anyone would put that up.

But to answer your question, the true odds would be a parlay of +275, +300, +300, and +400 or around 300-1.

I know at oddsmaker you could bet if the series would be a sweep by either team and I think they were all between +225-+285. I don't think they were available to parlay though.

off topic...but i'd just like to thank all you blind yankee-followers for pushing up each game's moneyline for the tribe..

that series made me a tidy profit....+195 last night?? sheesh...made up for 2 below average football weekends on one game, and that's not counting the other two ridiculously high lines in games 1 and 2..

and now, thank you boston fans...+140 with cc pitching? really? beckett's a beast, so this one i may not jump in headfirst like last night against wang on short rest..

again, thank you, blind yankee-followers..

Yeah, I think this Boston- Cleveland game 1 is completely different. Better team, at home, with at least as good of a pitcher. So while Cleveland may still be the value play (not really sure, and no real opinion), doesn't look at all like some of those NYY lines. World of difference between +110 at home vs. Wang and +140 on the road vs. Beckett.

You got a bad price. This was at +220 on Pinnacle at one point.

I'm usually really good at predicting these prices and have a set in stone theory about NYY price movements for big time games (and almost all). And of course I don't follow it and get a trash price. Cause I suck.
