Default trips min-raised turn

OK so I'm gonna start posting one or two hands a day where I feel stumped, recurring problems etc.

On to this hand. The past few times I'd raised preflop villain called, called a flop c-bet and folded to a second barrel on turn. Is a turn min-raise usually a value bet, and if so, do we beat anything someone value bets with?

Well, we're ahead of KJ, QJ, JT, which are all likely in villains range. I'd push this.

He can put you maybe on an overpair with his JT,QJ,KJ.

He can although have trip 9 or 8s. But even with that you got trapped and have to pay him off.

Board: Jc Jh 8s 9d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 33.129% 27.27% 05.86% 468 100.50 { AdJd }
Hand 1: 66.871% 61.01% 05.86% 1047 100.50 { 99-88, AJs, KJs, QTs, J8s+, AJo, KJo, QTo, J8o+ }

I don't think we're committed to this hand. Unless villain is getting frisky with air or something like T9 a bunch of the time, we're in pretty bad shape.

Push, this is trip jacks with a weaker kicker way too often, could even be some kind of straight draw thinking that the turn card is scary for you if you have AA/KK/QQ

Well I was pretty lost, figured since he played flop passively and only raised when the second jack hit that he probably had a weaker jack, and if not I had outs, so I just called the re-evaluate on river, esp since he had not so much behind (if I call he had a couple of bucks left)

I filled up, second 9 hit and he pushed. I call obv, he flopped the nut straight, Q10. He slowplayed, I got lucky by sucking out. I'm trying not to be 'results orientated' so I posted this hand wondering, did I just get lucky or was my thought proccess correct? (in general, not this specific hand)
