Default (6.50) TT in the SB

After a pretty long hiatus from poker, I am making a triumphant return to sngs only to realize I've obviously gotten rusty. I'm thinking here TT+,AKo+. I was on the fence here.

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t1885)
UTG+1 (t1885)
MP1 (t1125)
MP2 (t885)
CO (t1155)
Button (t2795)
Hero (t2950)
BB (t820)

Preflop: Hero is in SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I think you're either barely ahead or way behind. No villan is raising half his stack with a smaller pair.

Aside from range considerations, there's something else to keep in mind here. You're the big stack here and are about to enter the pushing phase. While many people get a bit wilder when they have the big stack, I've come to appreciate another approach. I tighten up a bit with the big stack through the 150-200 levels and open up when it hits 200 and blinds. I'm actually looking for bigger edges before that point when I'm already ahead. I believe this is a good approach because your opponents are at their most exploitable during that phase and the big stack you've preserved is the best way to do it.

Ya, so I'd fold but this is read dependent.

Villain's put in almost half his stack already, so I don't think he'll fold. Your hand doesn't beat the range you put him on. So this should be an auto-fold. Save your chips for a better spot.

Only thing I'd really say you could be way ahead of is something like 88 and 99 here and that's not all that likely, so I'd say it's a fold. Of course, in a 6.50 without a read I might glance at the instant history quickly to see if villian has been a crazy lag.
