TBH if this is actualy one coat then you've done something I've never been able to do in my life. Looks good so far, I'm shocked that it covered that well, and I'm actualy a little scepticle.
when's the back kitchen gonna be done? |

Re: help choosing the type and brand of paint to use for my kitchen
Not to hijack the thread, but are your appliances stainless or clean steel? My wife and I are looking into getting some clean steel appliances from GE but she is worried that scratches and fingerprints are going to show up too well.

Re: help choosing the type and brand of paint to use for my kitchen
Klompy, that is indeed the first coat. Benjamin Moore paint at $44/gallon. I'm fixing to put on a second coat now. I'm going to wait a week on the back kitchen to make sure I'm happy with this shade of red. I may go for a darker wine type color. Any input would be appreciated on color selection. I'm shooting in the dark more or less.
Vetman, All of the appliances came new with the place. I don't know the difference between stainless or clean steel. It's got that directional brushed type surface, if that helps any. No problems with fingerprints, but I don't have kids. |

This is why BM top shelf is so worth it, more solids in the mix = better coverage. Pay for the paint chip fan, see what color goes well with your other major color in the room. Squinting helps to "see".
