live 500+50 question

so i have a chance to play in this 500+50 tomorrow. the winner gets a 25,000 seat to a WPT event at th end of april. according to the chick i just talked to(who didn't seem to know what she was talking about, but i think asked someone), they are taking the 25k out of the prize pool. so, if 200 enter, that's 1/4 off the top of the prize pool right there. anyone like this idea? seems like this would be a horrible deal for everyone except 1st unless you're really trying to get into the WPT event for cheap.

lol That's a worse structure than an actual WPT event!

they were calling it the johnny hale open. now it's basically the wpt championship satellite. i think i'll probably play anyway just b/c i don't get to play many tournaments w/60 min blind levels. maybe i'll luckbox my way to vegas.
