I like you Kyle, you provide outstanding insight, and without the overwhelming douchiness of Thayer. So I will ask you: which metrics are you basing this on? And is what you're saying that they were the predicted best team in baseball? At what point does playing the games on the field, and outplaying your opponent matter more (80 games into the season? 120? 162? the DS?) I'm very open to people like you and Vhawk, who give their opinion but without trying to completely [censored] on you the whole time.

This is so not true...the playoffs don't prove dick.

But I still can't figure out why Kyle thinks the Yankees are the best team in baseball. Using PECOTA, WARP, adjusted standings, my predictions, my general analysis of the players, and everything else, I think the Red Sox are the best team in baseball by ~2 wins per 162 games. The Yankees are, at best, #2, and I think you could make the argument that they're a hair behind the Tribe.
