100NL AKo, VB river?
Villain is a >30/14/2.x loose/semi-passive, CS type guy.
Previous hand I had AKo, flopped TPTK on A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2x flop. Bet flop, bet turn (5x), pushed river (9x) against SB (different villain) for value as I figured he would put me on a busted FD and call with AT+ (which he did). I'm not sure exactly how villain views me after that, maybe as overaggro. So I pick up A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG, villain ($100) calls from SB. ($~7): 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, I bet $6, SB calls. (~$19): 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (or some rag) SB checks, I bet $14, SB calls. (~$47): A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, I ? $30 seems about right in retrospect, although at the time I was slightly worried that this guy might c/r with weaker Aces up. |

Re: 100NL AKo, VB river?
Bet strong. He will either have a strong hand to call with or a type of hand that won't call 30. Also, you don't have the Ac so its possible he was chasing nfd and ended up with top pair.
