in all seriousness, half of it is typical hyperbolic cheerleading (omg the yankees are the best baseball team! no, the red sox! no, the mets! no, the tigers! etc.)

the other half is me expressing annoyance at the people who had the contest decided for them before even seeing the pics. then, they see the pics for the other girl they never thought they might vote and are all "ok im waiting for more pics from my girl before voting" when they never had a chance of voting someone else to begin with.

say for example you think tiffani thiessen is the hottest woman alive. does that preclude you from the chance from changing your mind after seeing pics of a girl you didn't know about? everyone here knows what adriana lima looks like.

My main issue is the "ZOMG, What the [censored] is wrong with you that you could possibly think LC is hotter than JM?!?!?!?! JM so obviously rulez!!!!1111!!!" and somewhat condescending tone especially when a lot of people (obviously, and sadly, in the minority) feel that Casta has a nicer face and better body, just to choose an example.

i sure did, i swayed on abb vs. charlise theron, i swayed on evangeline lilly vs. reon kadena (thats off the top of my head, i dont remember every match). also most of these girls ive already seen tons of pics so more pics probably won't change my mind

also what i'm objecting to is people who pretend they are openminded when they really aren't, not people who are closeminded and proud of it... i probably didn't make that clear in my other post

I disagree with some people's assertions that the top 5 Victoria's Secret models should never lose a race to anyone (considering that many actresses are "hotter" in different ways and their perceived personalities often have influence - see Portman). That said, Lima losing to someone who's IN THE SAME BUSINESS as her is pretty ridiculous, considering how much more in demand she is. If you're saying people are only voting for Adriana Lima because it's such a well-known name, why do you think that is? It's not coincidence.

That said, Lima has a pretty "different" face than the standard and I can see why a lot of you would vote against that. I think she's clearly the winner in this race, but there are certainly a bunch of pictures of her that aren't anything great. I think she comes off across many times better on VS runway videos or commercials than in pictures.

Keep up the contest either way though. Fun to read.
