Instead of paying $100 for the adapter, you have two other options:
- Use pretty much any USB adapter. A lot of them will work and are a lot cheaper than $100.
- Buy a router that supports DD-WRT (or Tomato) firmware, install it, and turn the router into a wireless bridge.

You have to do the encore to get onto the next tier of songs. If you turn it down, it'll appear in the list and then you'll just have to do it anyway if you want to progress.

when I signed up for the free silver account, I think it just automatically told me I qualified for gold. I know I didn't have to type in any code or anything.

I feel like I really hit a wall here in my gh play, I am stuck on passing freya on expert but haven't tried that hard, mostly trying to 5* all of hard, and I just can't get anywhere with some of the ones that should be easy like YYZ and Stop. ugh so annoyed. It might have something to do with that my pinky on my left hand has been f---ing killing me for the last 2 months.

btw putting it on hyperspeed really helped me dramatically.

Passing Freya isnt too bad as it seems. I assume it is the bridge that is causing you problems. The best thing to do is to try to hit 2/3 of the notes and ignore the other 1/3.

When it repeats G O YB, ignore the orange and concentrate on hitting the R then the YB chord

When it repeats G RB YB, ignore the RB

When it repeats G RY GR, ignore the RY

Hitting 66% of the notes doesn't hurt your star meter too bad. Though you will still need star power to get through the bridge. So restart if you don't hit the first star power. Then there is an easy star power you should be able to get later.

On Freya during the G O YB section try putting your pinky, ring, and middle finger down at the same time for the O YB. Just pick your pinky up for the YB.

On YYZ try playing the hook (OOBOBYRGG) with your index, middle, and ring fingers. Just slide your index finger down across the red and green notes. The rest of it is pretty easy so just try different things in practice mode until you can keep a combo going. A good SP path will make up for some mess ups too.

I have 5-starred all regular songs on expert except Misirlou and Carry me Home. I just can't keep a streak in Carry Me Home, and I think Misirlou is physically impossible to 5-star without cheating somehow.

After the end of the video, he scrolls through the set list and shows off gold stars on almost all of the songs (I think he was missing only Jordan, Hangar 18 and Trogodor).
