At this stage of a tourney, TPTK is meaningless, unless both of your opponents are stone cold morans, (which will be about 15% of the time). In the best of circumstances, a backdoor low will come in about 20% of the time, for 50% of the pot, so that's about 10% pot equity.
Your fold was correct. Don't get hung up on results. Edit - If you like to gambool (and who doesn't?), you could almost iso-raise with this hand for a pre-flop coin-flip, but you'd be worth more if the ace were suited. If this were double-suited, this woiuld be a fine gambool hand. |
