Default QQ in 4 bet pot 100nl deep

Hey everyone...

Following hand takes place after around 300 hands, villain is 45-34-2.94

My stats for the session are 47-42-4

My read says he wont 4 bet unless he has AK+, however, i have been playing very aggressively, as he plays rather passive (calling station) so i also know that he will get fed of me 3 betting him constantly sooner rather than later.

Regarding the flop play, i know he knows, i am able to make plays for the pot with no hand and no draw, if i feel he is weak.

** Game ID 1728591019 starting - 2007-11-21 00:18:40
** Mantua [Hold 'em] (0.50|1.00 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money

- villain sitting in seat 1 with $231.05 [Dealer]
- POW9199 sitting in seat 2 with $197.93

villain posted the small blind - $0.50
POW9199 posted the big blind - $1.00
** Dealing card to POW9199: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
villain raised - $3.50
POW9199 raised - $14.00
villain raised - $45.50
POW9199 called - $45.50
** Dealing the flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
POW9199 checked
villain bet - $40.14
POW9199 went all-in - $153.43

How often do i get value from a weaker hand, should he have AA-KK-JJ, then do i ever get away from the hand?
Is my flop play ok, as i know his 4 bet range have been tight so far (but expecting him to open up) do i donk-bet the flop and call/fold?

I'm pretty sure you played it correct. With that board I think you have to go broke. Kind of a tough spot. I probably say he's 4 bettng with ak aq maybe jj 10 10. You beat 3 out of 4 of those hands. Hu overpair to queens is about 1/10 of a %. Its plausible but not likley. I say you played it good/standard. What did he end up having?

Right.. But first off it's about 1% chance that when you get dealt queens that your opp has an overpair.

And what the odds are that an overpair is dealt doesn't really matter, what matters is his 4-betting range. Due to the action we can narrow his range down a lot so it's not 1% chance that he has KK or AA here.

At first you cannot call the 4bet pf when you're not willing to get it in on that flop. It should only be a matter of how to get it in. Simply checkraising all in isn't bad I think, however given your image I like to give villain the opportunity to rebluff you with his AK, either by donking or by mincheckraising. You should have a read that he is getting annoyed by you in order to do that. And if you suspect he may call with AK, of course just crai.

I would recommend pushing, IF his hand is AQ+ JJ+ you are small favorite
IF it is just AK+ and JJ+ you are a small dog but it is not -EV because of the money already in the pot

SO push and avoid these tough decisions
