Smooth calling PF and then donking the flop seems really bad. was the plan to C/R or C/C the turn?

Explain please? If he has the Ad or Qd do you really think he's going to check? Arent the only hands that check the flop either flopped flushes or hands with at most two outs?

flopped flushes, middle PP, mid pair, air

but yea i think you are right, he is betting here more than enough for me to c/r and get more equity with the guy behind calling.

Middle PP or Mid pair never checking behind on the flop if they have a clue. Most air is betting as a bluff hoping that you have nothing. If he has air he's not calling your donk so win nothing, but he will often bluff with it. Even if he checks behind he drawing to most likely 2 or 4 outs

I hate preflop and flop but you said ignore those so that's fine.

Once I get to the turn I'm betting all the way and calling down if he raises.
