call flop

[/ QUOTE ]

Id rarely flat the flop there are so many bad turns that kill my hand/action

[/ QUOTE ]

But then again how much action do you want with JT on this board vs a unknown villain? I certainly wouldn't like playing for stacks here.

[/ QUOTE ]

yea i'm in the flat call flop camp as well

[/ QUOTE ]

hero can easily get away if villain puts in much action and it's not like it's the end of the world if we have to fold (as we don't really have many outs to improve).

I like hero's play on flop and turn, it's not like he has to play for stack just he raised villains bet,

His line makes no sense, I would look him up here and swear when he shows the Q.

I would flat call the flop+turn.

i would raise the flop a lot of the time for value/protection/balance but then when he donks the turn i'm playing pot control and calling down... what's so wrong with that?

i think unless i have at least some information on the villain i like flatting the flop and going from there. As played i like the turn raise and tbh i think the river bet from him looks a ton like QXss, so i would probably relucantly fold. I really like flatting the flop against an unknown though.

Raising, until proven otherwise, induces worse hands like semibluffs and bluffs to 3 bet and move us off our hand, while it shuts out worse made hands like pocket pairs less than 1010 and pure bluffs that we dont mind in the pot. so i think raising the flop really doesnt have a lot of merit until we know how this villain plays postflop or have a good feel for his range.

lol drunk rambling.

I raise the flop with literally 99 percent of my holdings anyway in this spot, so that's fine... the river on the other hand, is a fold.

btw i'd fold riv as played in case my post was a bit misleading... i meant i'm just calling his $18 bets or whatever on turn and riv.

agree, and fold river, i just dont see him trying to push you off a hand here, he's got to be expecting a call and this looks like a vbet.

For the turn i like your idea to flat, esp against an unknown he's pretty much begging you to raise him again so i'd like to see a SD and find out what he's taking these strange lines with before I push thin equity like JT in this spot.

I'd call, the draws missed. Nice hand.

I think this is a draw sooo often. I call the river. But I'd generally not of played the hand so strong on flop and turn against an unknown.
