a few heads up questions (rake, bankroll, winrates) NLCASH
obviously keeping a bankroll depends on your winrate and how much of a risk of ruin you will assume.
i for one am running a bit on the dangerous side. i'm rolled for 25 buyins and when i drop below 15 buyins, i drop down a level (so i would then have 30 buyins). also, what is considered a decent winrate over the longterm at small stakes heads up (.50-1, 1-2, and 2-4 specifically) furthermore, what is the average rake paid per hand longterm at, say, 1-2? i'm guessing it is around 20-25 cents per hand as there are a lot of pots where 0 rake is paid if no flop is taken, and then most pots that are played pay the full 50 cent rake. if anyone has a large sample size of heads up cash hands (full tilt, where max rake is 50 cents) then i'd love to hear what the average rake has been paid. the reason i'm asking is so i can figure out what rakeback would be since half of the rake paid would go towards that... |

Re: a few heads up questions (rake, bankroll, winrates) NLCASH
These numbers are from datamining full tilt. Divide total rake by 2 and then divide this by total hands to get the rake each player pays per hand dealt (in parenthesis). This is just an overall picture, I'm sure your own numbers will vary depending on your VPIP etc.
.5/1: 606457 hands, total rake = $92137.82 ($0.0761) 1/2: 239683 hands, total rake = $44715.27 ($0.0933) 2/4: 68494 hands, total rake = $12315.42 ($0.0899) The 1/2 result is higher than the 2/4 because more flops are seen at 1/2. As far as winrates it looks like 6-9 BB/100 is the average range for good players, the top players are at 12-14 BB/100, but the sample size is unreliable at this point. I've only been datamining off and on for a couple of months. Anyway, hope this helps. |

I assume thats PTBB/100 correct? Also how many hands/hours is average?
