Default 25NL: 2 pair raised on TURN.

Cryptologic - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.15/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $24.05
BB: $9.60
UTG: $17.07
Hero (CO): $31.91
BTN: $48.78

Reads: SB-32/14/2 over a lot of hands.Raised a lot and didn't like to fold to a reraise.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.00, BTN folds, SB calls $0.85, BB folds

Flop: ($2.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.50, SB raises to $12.00, Hero ??

At the end of every session I managed to get in a [censored] spot like this and always make a big mistake...
Easy fold on TURN ?
How about a check on the TURN.Dangerous board so I think a check would have been better.

Default Re: 25NL: 2 pair raised on TURN.

I bet $2 on that flop because it's pretty drawy and I want maximum fold equity. The turn card wasn't particulary good because it completes a few straights and puts a flush draw on the board that a tricky player might chose to bluff with outs. The c/c c/r line usually represents a pretty amount of strength. I think I would have checked behind on this turn, confident on calling a bet on the river, because he would stab with a pretty wide range considering your description.

BTW: I fold here, because you can be pretty sure to play for stacks on the river and I'm not too confident about the value of your hand on this coordinated board and the huge amount of suited connectors that villain has in his calling range and his traditionally strong line (which doesn't necessarily mean anything).
