The Ace on the turn is great for you. Limits the combos of AQ and AK and means KK/Qx maybe JJ pay you off a lot more. He hardly ever has a bluffing hand on the river so most of his range has showdown value which is going to check behind nearly always but call a bet with a fair freq.

fooz- I was under the impression you checked the turn to trap, not because you were proceeding cautiously.
If the latter is true, you need to rethink this hand completely. If its the former, you don't need to get fancy to get called by worse and are rarely shown better. If you don't exactly know why you checked turn, you shouldn't be squeezing in the first place. |

Since its btn vs bb, the btn's range is wider than if this was utg vs btn for example. he could have flush draw, queen, or even worse ace. QQ or AK would have 4 bet, so I think you are good here, so only hands you are losing to is AA or AQ imo.
