You know:

1. You are probably behind
2. You need to get lucky.
3. Its for your life in the STT.
4. If you fold you no longer have FE.
5. If you fold and then double up you probably still last in chips.
6. You are between a rock and a hard place.

Q8s is not a good hand but its better than average and you really need to do something. A call is not a bad thing to do in this spot with all these dead money in the hand.

just for the record, itd take the shover to be shoving as little as 31% of his hands for this to be breakeven, not including FE or later game stacks etc...

its a clear call.
