Re: 5/10nl TPGK gets c/r\'d
this hand is so completely read dependant it's hard to say.
i would usually fold until i thought i had better reads when i do decide to stop folding, default is to call and let him keep bluffing, since that's the biggest range that you're ahead of 3-betting can be good too, but you need to have a good image, and he has to be willing to put money in with weak hands |

Re: 5/10nl TPGK gets c/r\'d
Given how the hand played out, i kinda like a bet of like $100 and calling a c/r
if you don't think he'll be bluffing/overvaluing a worse hand often enough to make that call, just check it back |

[ QUOTE ] Also anyone hate preflop? [/ QUOTE ] are you serious? [/ QUOTE ] I didn't really realize it was only 4 handed.. table was full I think, people were just sitting out or just got busted, etc. pf is still standard for me utg 6-handed, some would probably argue against that. Breaking even leads me to question my plays, basic as they may seem. |

I see people do this (not just donks), but I don't really understand it. |

well, betting commits you (well it might not, but a b/f sucks), so i like checking behind on the turn. if stacks were deeper, id like a bet [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 5/10nl TPGK gets c/r\'d
[ QUOTE ]
checking behind on the turn is terrible, unless he check raises you all day long, the check on the turn seems like an OBVIOUS white flag from him (Axdiamonds or kq-k10). i like a bet of 200 on the turn, easy push on a river blank [/ QUOTE ] I don't get it. How can you say the turn check is terrible? I dont think either a bet or a check is particularly bad. You can make an argument for either. If you check you get to play a smaller pot with a decent hand and you can still pick off bluffs on the river if he has a draw and misses. |
