You are correct. In the video game world the PS3, Wii and 360 are considered third generation. The poster was probably referring to a different kind of 'generations' (In the schools here they teach you about 'early adaptors' and I think he is trying to refer to this).

I get the feeling that there's a lot more comfort and a lot less sarcasm in this post. Just adding "10k fight yo?" at the end doesn't mean you hid the fact that you actually do find it comforting that you think you can beat up internet strangers.
