It means she does what she does online, but live. She gets all-in with A10 vs. AJ with 13 left and flops a ten. Then she's all-in with QJ vs. JJ three handed and rivers a queen.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, it sucks being a losing player, doesn't it?

It just must be amazing to run like that. We all have our own runs in poker, but some people are spooky.

[/ QUOTE ]

In each of the cases you list she's a 30% dog.

Anybody claiming it to be "spooky" or out of the ordinary for a player to come up winner twice - or more - in that situation lacks a basic understanding of variance.

Nobody - and I mean nobody - can win a big tournament without getting very lucky. Maybe Annette got very lucky during the tournament, but your examples are not in anyway out of ordinary variance.

It's really hard to see any other reason for your post than envy.

[/ QUOTE ]

In GENERAL comment referring to the "spooky". She's won the Sunday Millions something like a dozen times? I believe. You don't win the Sunday Millions that many times and not be "spooky". The two hands I noted are classic examples of something you have to do only 405857474 in all big online tournaments of that size to win.

And of course I envy her, she just won E1,000,000.

Your thinking of Sunday 100r and other various tournaments, not Sunday Millions.

You guys that say she's just a luckbox and runs so good etc need to read up a little on Poker Psychology. She does get lucky sometimes, everyone does. That doesn't take anything away from her as a player, she's still really good.

I don't think anybody is really denying she has talent, that's obvious.

Yep, £1,000,000 or €1,448,000 or $2,008,000. Not bad.

Yeah, but in USD that's even better, as I think the exchange rate would make the $1.7 Million USD
